Here is the 1st half of the Wedding Bargello I am making my son. He picked the colors--I was skeptical of the combo, but I am so excited to watch the pattern unfold.

Rusty Quilter, I can not thank you enough for posting this pic. I am planning on making this same bargello from the book Twist and Turn Bargellos, and also in colors of blues browns and tans. Your stunning results so far really gave me a good idea of what I want to strive for in mine. It is lovely and I can not wait to see it finished. Please be so kind as to PM me if you post another picture. The board moves so quickly I sometimes miss new pics.

    Great job so far!!

LOVE IT! Thx so much for sharing. These colors are excellent! Both cool and cozy, serene and rich. Also seem sophisticated to me, as in unexpected, evolved beyond the usual. I'm going to do my first bargello this year, God willing. I already have the pattern, which I hunted down after seeing it on the board, just need to finish some other things first.

Your son did a excellent job picking out the colors, and you are going to have one beautiful quilt. Great job on this. And I can't wait to see it all finished.
