Strippy Hexie Quilt

Strippy Hexie Quilt
I have been working on this quilt on and off for about a year and half now. With my newly created quilting/crafting room, I was able to finish it up and ready for the long arm! I tried to get a little creative with the back and used the leftover scraps to make what my husband called a racing stripe! I think I like the back almost more than the front! In the photo of the top, it is sitting on the backing so that I could find the center of both for the long arm but looking at it I wish I would have put a dark blue boarder on it as well. Oh well, to late now!
Thanks for looking!!!!

It's going to be a great quilt!
You can still add a blue border about the same size as your backing. If it isn't already mounted on the machine, sew on your 2-3 inch blue borders. If it is already on the machine, keep the quilting away from the quilt top edges about an inch. When finished quilting, fold back the one inch, use batting tape to add 2- 3 inches of batting, sew the blue borders on the quilt top, smooth the top and backing back out and quilt on your sewing machine or If you just ad a 2 inch border, you can just stitch in the ditch and then do your binding.
