I just finished this quilt for a dear friend who is having cancer surgery today. I used modified these instructions to make the quilt larger. http://www.maryquilts.com/quick-strippie/

It's quilted with a blue variegated thread.

That's really beautiful! It is very nice of you do make that for her. I'm sure she will treasure it. I hope the surgery went well.

That is beautiful. I love your floral fabric. The colors are pretty. And what a nice friend you are. Every time your friend wraps up with it she will think of you.

thats a pretty quilt, twistedstitcher. I'm always happy when ppl do a closeup. You see details and colors that might not otherwise look the same. She'll love it! :D

I'll bet that sweet gift goes with her to the hospital for her bed. Trust me her heart will be so warmed by your gift of love and thoughtfulness. A quilt from a dear friend goes with me on my check ups too. Soon I head for Texas myself. I hate the trips... but love my DH!!!

My heart is warmed by your post. God bless you really big!!! :D :D :D
