    Tealfalcon sent me this quilt and didn't want primitive or country type quilting because that isn't really her style...although her family is very patriotic...this will be hanging in her entry way.

    I quilted "charisma curls" in the "white" stripes of the flag and the borders. In the red stripes I just looked at each fabric and took a design from the fabric and mimic-ed it in the quilting design to give it texture.....in the blue area behind the stars I did 3 different types of swirlies..they all look similar but different....AMERICA...

    I quilted everything freehand on my INNOVA no pantograph or computer quilting. I also used hobbs polydown batting.

    That's amazing! Makes me want to make something with stripes just to have you quilt it!

    Whoohooo horray for the red white and blue.....I love it.....its more then I could of imagined. Thank you......I can't wait to get it and hang it up

    Child you never cease to amaze me. With the quilting you chose you prove that country and contemporary can live to together and look good. And the quilt itself is very nice :P

    WOW - you did it again :) Might be my favorite, or was it the all over ferns you did...shoot....I like them all :) Her quilt is awesome.
