T sent me this quilt ..she is using at her and her DH's wedding Vow renewal in a couple weeks...

    AWE!! How sweet is that?

So she wanted it quilted with metallic threads....I had a hard time getting just the right metallic...LOL..I used Superiors silver in the colored fabrics...as it is a bit more hearty and didn't give me any troubles..and then I used a thinner green metallic in the white areas..that did give me some trouble...superior metallic threads only..is my new motto!

Anyway..it is a beautiful quilt..I chose to feather the borders...loops in the white sashing..and block work in the HST's.

I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA...used Hobbs POlydown batting . No computer or pantograph work...all freehand...

    Thanks for looking!

    back...LOVE this fabric!

That is absolutely gorgeous !!!!! I wish you lived close to me. I love your quilting. Shipping to and from Wa. would cost more than buying a finished quilt. LOL

There are not many LAQ's in my area that I know of (1 in fact)
    Keep up the beautiful work.

Flat rate boxes cost the same no matter where you are in U.S. ! I just sent her my queen sz top for $10.95. Well worth that small cost to know you'll get a masterpiece of quilting in return! IMHO

Thanks Vanuata Jill, I wasn't worried about shipping the top but I figured the long distance would be quiet expensive shipping the finished product back.

Another amazing result! What a gift. I just sent off a top to Charisma this morning, and with the batting, backing, and insurance, Priority Mail was only $14.60. Could save by using her batting, going parcel post. But shipping not a barrier really. Can't wait to have my own original "Charisma".

I am so wanting to send a quilt to Charisma but I'm worried about the shipping cost back too. Any idea how much that would be? Blessings, Georgia
