My DIL fell in love with this material and asked if I could make her soon-to-be-born niece a quilt. While I love the color combination I am afraid it might be a little too adult for a newborn. I am calling it Blushing Dogwood.
This is also my first try at FMQ on my new Babylock (a Christmas present).

It's perfect. I love it. I wouldn't worry about it.

It is absolutely gorgeous. The baby will only be a baby for a short time. This is appropriate for all stages of her life and will be a treasured quilt. Good job.
