Super Idea. This year I took a dish towel and a matching pot holder found the middle of both. The towel was gathered in the middle to fit the size of the potholder. I placed the middle of the pot holder on top of the middle of the towel. I then sewed them together down the middle. When you pick it up you will bring the top and bottom of the pot holder together. The pot holders have loops so I sewed a button on the end without the loop. You then button it around the arm of the stove, oven or frig. I also love the idea of the apron. BrendaK

What a terrific idea as I've only seen aprons made with a kitchen towel attached at the waist.

    Thanks for looking.
my grandmother and I would make aprons with a towel attached at the waist to the side. We had a great time doing this and since I am a butt wiper-sounds bad but that is what my grandmother called it-I would wipe my hands on my sides or back when wet or floury!! these worked well for me. Your are beautiful and brought back memories-thanks
