    You did a good job for your first attempt. Keep on drawing over and over and over then load up a practice piece and hit the whirly twirly feather mode and feather til you cannot feather anymore. In no time you'll have them down pat and feathering will never again make you anxious.

    Practice, practice, practice. I go to the dollar store and buy the big sketch pads, then measured off the size of the border. Then you can turn the pad either way and run the design both ways. It's usually harder for everyone in one direction or the other. Be patient with yourself.

    Your feathers are excellent!!!! I have this on my "would like to try this year" list! Feathers always seem to add that bit of class & sophistication to a quilt!
