at that time The Denver zoo had two polar bear cubs they were hand raising. i think they ended up in Florida! klondike was the boy bears name.

the polar bear is called Christmas countdown (you take the stars off the border and add each day to the tree) it's an advent calendar 21x26 inches, #208, by Wild Goose Box 1166 Grand Rapids, MI 49501

the other is Christmas Tree Quilt by Back Porch Press 36x44" an easy fat qtr quilt. by Gail E Abeloe (PO34).
