I've been trying really hard to use up what I have in my stash before I buy more fabrics. I think I might need to buy some more to make this bigger though or I was thinking to use this fabric to add another border I have it in back/white and white/black shown? Or should I just leave it be?

go with that border - it will really frame the whole piece -

Have you considered doing a narrow red flange and then a border with the black and white swirl fabric?

Maybe do a very narrow darker color border between the white
border & this one?
