    Gorgeous scrappy braid! I can see over the years your favorite fabrics to use have been cooler colors... the blues and greens. What a great memory album of your quilting history.

    I really like that quilt & especially like how you make the small center squares in the braid out of the same fabric and the sashing between each row from the same color. It ties the whole thing together for me & makes it look very cohesive even though it is scrappy. Thanks for sharing your beauty with us.

    I thought the same thing. To me, the center diamonds running vertically remind me of a beaded necklace, and the background feels like a waterfall. The fabrics really work together.
