and this is going to be auctioned. I just finished this top today, but need to get in pinned, quilted and bound by August 29th... yikes! 48 of the kids at our church's vacation Bible camp colored 6" squares, and we ironed each animal. Then I sewed the squares into 12" blocks, trimmed those out with 2" strips, put a black border and a scrappy border on, and VOILA! Now I have to figure out what I'm backing it with, and fast!

Back it with light blue flannel, and skip the batting. It makes quilting on the machine go much faster, and is easier to baste.

Great quilt and great project! I love Heifer Project International, been supporting it for over 20 years.
