Here's a pretty neat way of dealing with the problem, from Barbara Henning at BearPaw Quilting

Just wanted to say that Brenda Hennigh always has good information. I have taken several classes from Brenda. She is a very talented lady and has fun classes!

Might you have to be a member to look at that?

It's a .pdf file available to anyone. Well, anyone with Adobe Reader.

    I'm not a member. Didn't even know there was a club. ;-)

It might take a while to open but otherwise there are no restrictions on viewing it, or saving a copy to your hard drive.

Are you getting an error message?

Thanks for sharing this as it could happen to anyone at home as well. I would probably trim the uneven seam allowance (after sewing) if it were very wide where star points may be encountered later. I had seen this a while back, but had forgotten about it. Bookmarked now!
