    Welcome from Washington state. I love your old quilts that you have posted here. It is always a great pleasure to look at the hard work that someone has done that is still holding up very nicely.

    Thanks for the feedback Jammin, Jenni and Amma------it's a hard choice but I really don't get any enjoyment from them other than remembering where they have been----I guess that's a lot right there, huh

    The backing that is the navy and brown stripe is like the ones my mom's aunt used to put on her quilts. The backing was flannel. Most of the quilts she put them on were made in the 40's and 50's. Thanks for the memories.
