Default Young Quilters Quilt

Hi Guys,

As a member of the Quilters Guild of the British Isles, I work with our Region to get young people involved with quilting. We are running a monthly workshop over the next few month where the young quilters will make their own quilt. The young people involved can be as young as six so we had to have a project that was possible for the younger children whilst still keeping the older youngsters engaged. This is the quilt I have created for them to make, it is 53" x 53"........ (I made the pink version)....

Hopefully they will enjoy the classes..... !

Hugs

Caroline

That certainly will appeal to all ages with enough difficulty to challenge the older children.

What a wonderful project!! It would be a challenge for me! You have included lots of different blocks so if they learn all those they will be true quilters!! We need more young people involved--kudos to you!!

That sounds like quite and challenge.....and huge fun as well. Great quilt for them to start with --- and i agree that once they have managed all those different blocks they will have not only a great quilt but a great foundation to build upon.

That's very pretty and I think will inspire the children.

Great sampler and perfect to keep the young people interested. Nothing as boring as doing the same block over and over again when one is itching to try something new!
