This is only a test - can't see pictures issue
testing posting pics
trying one that is a jpg of the correct size:
I was unable to upload the file using the tree icon ... got the message:
"ALS ribbon tag front.JPG: This is not a valid image file."
I attempted to upload the same picture using 'manage attachments' and got the same error message.
trying one that is a .bmp of the correct size:
I got the same message.
I am running Windows XP on this computer and use Firefox as the browser

Thanks for testing this for us QuiltnNan. One of the joys of my day is to see everyone's quilts they post. I hope the programmers figure out quickly what has happened so that I can get my joy back.
Another strange thing happening. Just since last night, when I am replying to a post and hit "Post Quick Reply" I get this message.
Are you sure you want to leave this page?
Message from webpage
Changes made on the editor will be lost
.... Leave the page
.... Stay on this page
The message won't post if you "stay on the page". You have to click on "Leave this page" to post the reply which is a direct contradiction to the "Changes made on the editor will be lost" line.
After that, if you are in "edit message" mode, then the "Save Changes" button works fine.

I am getting this same message when attempting a 'quick reply' too
i have to click on Leave Page to get it posted most of the time both on my computer and laptop. Overall, for me, the QB is 'slower than molasses in January' as they say. The rest of my computer access is normal speed.

I am not having any problem with speed, but I am on a laptop that is running an Intel 7 processor with the Windows 8 operating system. Windows 8 is a lot quicker, but does take some getting used to.

I still cannot see a picture, just the box and the name of the picture. Can't post them either. Wonder if it's something in settings. I looked at mine and could not see anything I needed to change. Do you have the ability to look and compare yours and mine? Maybe that's part of our answer...just a setting that needs to be changed.
