trouble connecting with quilting board
Am I the only one having problems connecting with QB? I get an e-mail fromQB but when I click on the link, all I get is "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" This has been happening for about 3 weeks.

Have you tried rebooting your computer? Using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer? I am guessing you will get lots of helpful hints. Or just going to www.quiltingboard.com?

I am having the same problem It started after I upgraded to Internet Explore 9. I click on "Diagnose connection Problem" Then another window opens up and I click on "Close Trouble Shooter" and it takes me to the board. I've just learned to deal with it!
I had to upgrade to Internet Expolorer 9 because I wasn't able to use Pinterest.

I had problems with IE9 too. I couldn't even get pictures to load. Switched to Google Chrome.

I have the same issue... but the page does load in about 10 -15 seconds after the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message comes up... it is a pain.

I don't use the link in the email. I just go direct to the site using Firefox or Google Chrome.

I saved the website under favorites (there's an option to have it on the bar) then just click the icon for quilting board and waa laa, you're there

I don't have trouble connecting but I stopped getting the QB emails about 2 months ago.
I emailed QB support about it but never got a reply from them.
I emailed Patrice she replied with some suggestions to try
I added all the things I needed to my safe sender list etc. that
Patrice suggested and still no emails.
So finally I just added a shortcut to QB website right to my desktop so now I just
click the shortcut and it comes right up on the main page.
Good luck with solving your problem.

I'm having the same problem and I am tired of it. I think it is really sad to lose what we had and no one seems to want to address present concerns. IMHO

The reality is, your computing experience is your responsibility. With over 70 thousand members there are hundreds of ISP, browser, and OS combinations. Then you add in trying to access the group thru a link in email and all the variables that throws in and you can imagine the headache on admin's part.
