Janice, my last finish was a throw for Hubby. He was supposed to get it for Christmas a few years ago, he's going to get it for Valentines. It began life as a panel, the comic strip Pickles. I cut it up, made more blocks, added some sashing and a border and ended up with a 48 by 60 throw. I am not able to post pictures. Began quilting another throw, it's an old John Flynn laser cut pattern, all curved pieces. I hand pieced it years ago and put it in a bag. It is batik and I hand quilt so it is like stitching thru cardboard. Next month I am having knee replacement surgery so will have a lot of time to quilt. Love seeing all the finishes, keeps me motivated.

SQ, I'm sure you aren't the only one with that problem. In fact, I ran across two unstarted projects in my stash a few days ago. Both I'd totally forgotten. We need a USP challenge board...UnStarted Projects.

I have drawers full of little heaps of fabrics with a pattern next to them that I fully intend to make. The trouble is, when I come to make the things, i find I have changed my mind and am not so keen on the pattern anymore!! Oh boy. I promise I WILL start my projects!

QM, red, black and white. It's a classic color combo. Nice job! Congrats again on another finish!

I know it is not the prettiest quilt. I was looking to rid myself of the dancing feet checkered fabric. My piecing is not perfect on this either. I need to work on intersections of this pattern. I do love the look of it though. My border quilting I think pulled this quilt together. I cut this and started it about six or seven years ago. So glad is all done.

Thank you ladies for the compliments. Good thing I love to do the quilting which can make a simple quilt look nice and hide some of my bad piecing. In the future, I may try this block again, but will be way in the future. Have to finish up my projects right now.

Update! This train has been on one mighty fast roll and it's almost run away without me so I'll take this opportunity to update you all on the count of UFOs completed so far.

There were four additional January completions by Glojean48 and Plee1053. Toot, Toot to both! Their UFO finishes brought the January total to 74. Whoa! Great job, quilters!

So far for the month of February, we've had 9 more finishes from Fraew, Veronica, Jaba, SweetwaterQuilter, OhCanada, Kristakz and QuilterMomma. Toot, Toot and Woo, Woo to you all for getting February off to a great start. Congratulations!

Maybe that would be a good one for next year because none of us will have any UFO's left.

Wonderful finish Quiltermomma! Your choice of fabrics works very well with this pattern and I like the combination of curved and straight line quilting that you used in the borders.

Still no UFO work from me but I finished the flimsy for the 3rd comfort quilt last nite and have the layers done and will pin it soon. Plan to have it finished by this weekend. You are all awesome inspiration for myself and each other and I love watching you go, go go!!
