The pattern came from a magazine (Fons and Porter's Scrap Quilts, Fall 2012). Quilt is by Evelyn Young called "It's like sleeping with my stash". I changed her assembly instructions a bit, in what I think is an inspired option, especially for a scrap quilt. I made each (4") block from 2 3" squares of colour and 2 3" squares of background.

Well you have certainly inspired me. My problem is not so much UFO's (I do tend to finish things) My main proble is USP's, unstarted projects! I have drawers full of little heaps of fabrics with a pattern next to them that I fully intend to make. The trouble is, when I come to make the things, i find I have changed my mind and am not so keen on the pattern anymore!! Oh boy. I promise I WILL start my projects!

I know it is not the prettiest quilt. I was looking to rid myself of the dancing feet checkered fabric. My piecing is not perfect on this either. I need to work on intersections of this pattern. I do love the look of it though. My border quilting I think pulled this quilt together. I cut this and started it about six or seven years ago. So glad is all done.

Very eye catching QuilterMomma and you are right the border quilting does pull the quilt together.

Thank you jaba! I've had it for a number of years with simple in-the-ditch and decided to do all the quilting around it. That's how I injured my leg - too much repetitive use of the knee lifter.:-)
