It's looking good, MNT GRANDMA. What size is it now?

30 inches in diameter. Next round will add 7 inches, cause I like to cut bigger pieces out of the snow dyed fabrics.

I found the sunny fabric at my LQS. It's actually a daisies print, but works well for sun. I found the rain and snow on eBay.

Now that I'm almost finished with March, I'm having second thoughts. If I were to do it over, I'd still have 5 degree increments, but only use a light and a dark for each 10 degrees. That way, just glancing at it, I'd know blues were 20s, greens 30s, etc. I'd be more scrappy for each color. I'm also thinking of changing the white part of each month to black so the colors will pop more. I'll keep the white sashing for each month.

I haven't had a chance to work on mine in a few weeks, but I'm writing down each day's temps & weather so I can work on it when I get time. We're getting the house ready to put on the market, and we've been doing a lot of "pre-packing" and putting our extra stuff into a storage unit. We've lived here for 25 years, so there's a Lot of Stuff. We've even donated 1-1/2 truckloads (literally!) of unwanted stuff already. It's unbelievable how things accumulate over the years.

We are on the older side, giggle, living on five country acres off-grid. And when I look at our big two story house I think about my poor son and his wife having to clean it and the property out for our next big move. Or if they mutiny, doing it ourselves! We actually moved our indoor lives (computing, and sewing) downstairs into the living room to accommodate dog friends who could not do the stairs. So upstairs is mostly storage, except for furry cats (without them...I wouldn't need to vacuum much up there). My husband, who still does all our firewood, said something about 5 more years. These are hard decisions to make, and need to be done sooner that later. Thank you for listening.
Another week of freezing to 70 degree temperatures. So glad I'm not a weatherperson.
