I use this same recipe....I add garlic, etc., to my hamburger mixture. My son in law loves it!

I am so glad you posted this today. I made a huge pot of spaghetti last night. To get a little variety, I'll take the leftover spaghetti and sauce, put it in a casserole dish and add the cheese topping tonight! There's just the two of us, so when I cook, it always seems there's enough for at least one other night, so this helps to recyle with a little bit of something different!!

We just had baked spaghetti the other night. I use left over spaghetti and sauce, mix it in a 9x11 pan. Bake 30 mins in a 350 oven. Add 2 cups mozarella cheese to the top and put back in the oven for 5 mins. I make my own sauce.

Here is my recipe for baked spaghetti: Hope you will try it.

    1 lb. cooked spaghetti
    2-14.5 oz. cans diced tomatoes
    1 med. onion
    1green pepper
    1/4 c. butter or marg.
1 small can sliced black olives
    1 small can mushroom pieces
    1can cream of mushroom soup
    1 tsp dried oregano
    Shredded cheddar cheese
soften onion, mushrooms, in the butter, add the olives ,oregano, and tomatoes and mix together.
In a 9x13 pan layer half the pasta, half the veggie mixture, 1 cup cheddar cheese. repeat the second layer.
Mix soup with 1/4 c. water and spread over top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350 for 30 min. or until hot. This freezes well.

My Mom used to add bacon to the top and broil it until the bacon was done and the cheese was bubbly.
