We make this recipe all the time without the bisquits...make a side of cornbread instead. Family loves it.

That's how we do it to! A meal by itself.

On the last Saturday of each month, we have "Neighbors Night" potluck. It is this coming Saturday, and I couldn't decide what to bring.

Cowboy Casserole ... hmmm. Looks good enough to try. My neighbors will be my guinea pigs !!

Craftybear -- Thank you for posting this recipe. As planned, I made it for our monthly Neighbors Potluck get together last night.

I told everyone I had never prepared this before and that they were guinea pigs. They all LOVED IT !!! I added about an additional 1/2 lb. chop meat, more onion and bbq sauce to stretch it and it was fabulous.

Nobody could believe how the bisquits cooked and were so perfect.

THANK YOU !!! This is definitely a keeper.

Kat
