Default Easy Pineapple Angel Cake

EASY PINEAPPLE ANGEL FOOD CAKE
Box of Angel Food Cake mix (just the contents of the box, no need to follow the directions on the box), and combine it with a 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple in its own juice.

(No need to use a mixer, just stir it by hand) When you do this, something magical happens. The mixture starts to froth and it turns into an amazingly airy, fluffy bowl of deliciousness right before your eyes. Once it's all mixed up, simply pour it into a 9 x 13 pan and bake it at 350 for 30 min.
The frosting....no recipe for this but I would combine some of the crushed pineapple with a can of vanilla frosting. Maybe a pinch of the pineapple juice, too.

Simplest easiest recipe ever ... and the bonus that you can keep the ingredients in your cupboard for the times you need a cake instantanly and don't have the time for all the work!

If you want some more like it ... use a can of pie filling instead of the pineapple.
Any flavour you wish!
And if you want faux black forest cake ... add 1/3 to 1/2 cup bakers cocoa to the dry cake mix and then combine all with cherry pie filling. Ice with whipped cream (or cool whip).

You can make them in the 9x13 as you have mentioned ... or can use an angel cake or bundt pan. Even Muffin tins.

Also, there's LOTS more variations with a few extra ingredients added in ... just ask Mr. Google!

And for a summery flair frost with one can of crushed pineapple with the juice mixed with a box of vanilla pudding mix then stir in a cup of cool whip. I frost my angel food cakes with this all the time, also good on spice cake.

Angel Food Cake Mix
and then do just the same as you do with the crushed pineapple.

So the recipe is ... mix one box of angel food cake mix with one can of ____________.
Use the box directions for baking time and temperature according to the size/shape of cake pan you use.

Easiest recipe you'll ever find!

the other day I made a chocolate cake mixed with a can of root beer and it is very good. no eggs oil or water/milk
have been told that this can be done with a white cake mix and a cream soda pop

Yes ... any regular cake mix ... any soda/pop.
Possibilities are endless.

If you only want a small cake then use a single pouch package and 1/2 can.
Double layer or 9x13 or cupcakes, use the regular box mix and full can.

LinMid ... to clarify ... this one is for regular cake mixes (any flavour).
The earlier recipe was one step angel cake mixes

That is my favorite cake (angel food w/pineapple). I usually just add some low cal Cool Whip on top when served.
