    Hawaiian Bread

This is for a 1 ½ lb. loaf

Mash 1 overripe banana in a 1 cup measuring cup. Finish filling with crushed pineapple.

    1 egg
    1/4 cup of milk
    ½ tsp. of salt
    1/3 cup of sugar
    ½ cup of potato flakes
    3 cups of bread flour
    4 tbsp. margarine
    1 ½ tsp. quick yeast

Add ingredients according to you machines instructions.
I let the machine do the work then take it out and put in pan for final rising....bake in oven. Great toasted with pb on it :)

Do you spread the filling on the dough and roll it up, or do you mix it in? Would definitely like to try this:) Am always looking for ways to use up over-ripe bananas!

Don't have a bread machine but love to bake my own bread. Can this one be done without a machine? You didn't give baking degrees and time.

I bake my bread at 350 for 20 -25 min. I have not done this by hand but don't see why you can't.

Doesn't it all get mixed together, did not even think of filling. Now I wonder which way is it?
