    No more cans in my area....haven't seen them in a few years. I do remember it being thicker, though, closer to hot fudge.

    The one in the squeeze bottle is made for topping ice cream or adding to milk for kids. The one in the can is made for baking so yes, it is different. The can is richer than the bottle.

    I remember when the can was almost empty, pouring milk in, thumbs over the two holes, and shake it up for chocolate milk!

    Yum! That was the only topping we ever used when I was growing up. Mom kept the open can in the refrigerator
    (2 holes poked with a can opener, 1 big,1 little) and we would try to "sip" some without being caught!

    I personally think the chocolate in the can tastes better and is thicker.

    I melt chocolate chips with heavy cream and a little corn syrup to get perfect chocolate syrup when I want it.
