    Default Hershey's Chocolate Syrup Question

Is the Hershey's Chocolate flavored syrup in the plastic squeeze bottles the same formula as the Hershey's Chocolate flavored syrup in the 16 oz metal can?

The reason for the question: It seems like the brownies/cake made from syrup in the can turn out better than the ones made from the syrup in the squeeze bottle.

I did not know that it came in a can. I always use the squeeze bottle. Sorry I could not be of help. Good luck.

Good question, I remember the can as being thicker. No way could it "squeeze" so, your hunch might be right.

I have been known to consume the chocolate syrup "as is" -

I'm saving calories by not having it with anything else!

Perfect way to go! To me, the can is thicker but it could be just perception. Hope some one knows.

this would be a great question to ask the people at Hershey, at their toll free number - AND - I bet they would send you some coupons as well!

I have never noticed any difference, except in the price. Can't say for the present as I haven't purchased any in quite a while. But back in the day when I did it was much less expensive, per ounce, in the can.
