I ordered an Air Fryer from QVC on Sunday. It was their special deal of the day. The cookbook you refer to is available on Amazon prime for $13.??. Not being sent until Dec. 1. That's a $5 savings from the QVC price. I can't wait to get my fryer. Wahoo, healthy fast cooking.

He fixed more steak fries last night. I am going to try dry roasted chickpeas today. Will let you know results.

Ok, done. I preheated at 390 degrees (took about 4 or so minutes). I drained and patted dry a can of chickpeas while the fryer was preheating. I sprayed a little olive oil on the peas, sprinkled some seasonings (I use a Kroger brand called zesty table blend). Cooked in the fryer around 12 minutes (was supposed to be 20 but I shook the fryer pan around 6 minutes and they were coming along fine. Nice and crispy...need to get the flavors down a little more. But I think would work great for toasting walnuts or any nuts before using in a recipe too.

Ok there you go...

A few more things I have made in the air fryer...chicken breast with breadcrumb coating (moist and crisp), baked potato (have to add more time on this time, finished up with a minute or two in microwave), breaded pork chops (two wouldn't fit in the fryer without maybe cutting up so I just fixed them separate), very moist and great coating, and brownies (yes brownies). Small baking pan for the brownies about 3 inches deep, six inch square. Moist and delicious.

SLBRAM....thanks to you & others for the info. I am still waffling back & forth as to size/brand.

Then my caution brain kicks in ....will I use it? All warranty periods seem to be same length of time. Thanks again & DH does like steak fries

Not trying to sell air fryers. But they can be used for much more than fries. I don't want to heat up oven for a few biscuits..air fryer works for smaller portions.
