2 Ingredient Fudge
I tried the 2 Ingredient Fudge that was posted in Recipes section a while back made with chocolate chips and Betty Crocker frosting. I made some up in little squares for gifts and they went over really well at Christmas time. Well I got to thinking, "I wonder how it would stack up against regular fudge?" I entered it into the fair and it won FIRST place in the cooked fudge devision against 5 other entries.:)

The original post was by cmrenno under two ingredient fudge. There are a lot of posts about it in recipes. The version I use is 1 pkg. 250 choc. Chips and 1 450g. Betty Crocker Frosting. Do not use the whipped frosting.
I put my 250 g. Hershey's Chipits Special Dark in my large 6cup Pyrex measure cup and melt them in the microwave for 2minutes, 30 seconds(approx) When the chips are melted, stir in the 450g. B.C. Milk chocolate frosting and microwave 30 seconds more. Each microwave is different and you will have to work out how long to time yours. Remove from the microwave and stir until combined thoroughly. Line a pan with foil or plastic wrap and smooth the fudge in. The foil or plastic help to lift the fudge out when it is done. Refrigerate at least an hour and overnight is even better. |
This is one fudge I will try. Sounds easy.

I tried white chips with cream cheese frosting and threw in chopped almonds. Not a bit left over from the guild meeting!!

QuiltE-I just put in the fudge because I didn't have anything much to enter this year in sewing. Hoarder-White choc. Chips and cream cheese frosting sounds divine!
