3 cups finely chopped vidalia onions
3 cups shredded swiss cheese (Chop as fine as onions)
2 1/2 cups mayo (no substitute) use more if needed to make a creamy dip
pinch garlic salt

Mix the above. refirgerate to blend. Serve with corn chips scoops or taco chips. On a trip to Vidalia GA we came across this dip in a funky cafe. Everyone went crazy over it. Vidala onions are a must, as they are sweet with hardly any aftertaste. Took a huge bowl to a party came home with less than a cup left!

Sounds like something I should use my V onions for. I bought a bag then went to my DD and her work(restaurant) gave her a big bag (she doesnt use onions) and gave it to me. I chopped some & put into baggies to freeze but have a few more left!
Thanks for the recipe, sounds good!

if you want sweet onions, just cut them and soke them in milk [dry made is ok] they rince when readt to eat.
