It's pork chops tonight but I'm not sure what to put with them. I know "Peter Brady" says we should have applesauce with them.lol We'll see.

Heart attack on a plate
Homemade double dipped deep fried chicken, pan gravy, mashed potatoes and peas.
Served with a cardiologists business card on the side :-)

Something I only make once or twice a year oh so bad for you and it tastes oh so good.

The other day I made tortellini soup with bacon, spinach, and beans. It turned out really good.

I know this is the opposite of this thread but I just found out today that I have to take an Irish dish to an Irish potluck tomorrow night. I have no idea what to take. We have been eating out the past couple days and really not sure about tonight but I know I have to cook something for tomorrow. Any good, easy ideas out there?

Shepheards pie, (personal favorite)
corned beef and cabbage,
irish soda bread (not a fan)
good Irish cheeses, dubliner cheddar cheese comes to mind, and sausage or corned beef platter (like an appatizer)
bangers and mash basically sausage and mashed potatoes
irish colcannon (winter veggie cassarole)
Irish coffee always sounds like a good idea to me :-)
