I'm just waiting while my sauce reduces, so I'm a little bored, thus the post.

The pork loin roast I've made on the grill is resting. It will be topped with a red wine reduction sauce, and sided by a Ceasar salad and a nice red wine.

    What're ya'll making?

Lasagna. It had to have been the ugliest lasagna I've ever made. The aluminum pan I bought was too big and the insides were oozing out. But it tasted great! Garlic bread, and simple mixed veggies. I never know what to do with veggies, so I just sprinkle basil, so it looks like I did something. DH liked it, so I call that a success :)

I'm sewing so I had two cheese sandwiches and a pepsi. Also I live alone and cooking is not real big at my house.

Well, my sauce got a bit overpowered by the spices on the pork roast, but a little salt and pepper helped. And the Zin really helped. :-)

Cindy liked it though, so it was a success!

Can I come to your house? I LOVE LOVE Liver and onions. I have some in my freezer...but since you have already cooked it, it would save me the work and can Hubby come along? He likes Liver and Onions too.

I want to come eat with all of you! We had leftover chili from yesterday. It was really good though. I'm not into cooking everyday but I do make killer sourdough bread!

I got creative with the produce I had on hand... made a salsa with pineapple tomatillos, a ripe peach, a bit of zucchini, red grapes, and a dash of guava nectar.

If you've never had pinapple tomatillos, they're little berry-like fruits, about 1/2" across, golden yellow when ripe, with a sweet taste that's a little like pineapple, but quite distinct.
