I also add a few chopped nuts to the syrup that goes in the pan before the bread. Then when you cut it after baking, invert the pieces onto a plate...looks great! I used Pepperidge Farm Swirl Bread....

This is such a good thing for company...make it at night...bake in the morning. I don't know anyone who dislikes French toast! :thumbup:
