This is such a good thing for company...make it at night...bake in the morning. I don't know anyone who dislikes French toast!

I think you could spread the second slices of bread with a generous helping of cream cheese sweetened with a bit of sugar and a beaten egg and then put them cheese side down on the first layer and make stuffed french toast.

........... and add some jam between or some fresh fruit!



I bet the leftovers would freeze successfully too .... for a quick microwave zappable treat.
Has anyone done this?

Okay, somebody hurry up and try the freezing thing! This sounds delicious but I am only one person...LOL....I need to make this recipe!

Easy enough ... cut the recipe in 1/6, 1/3 ir 2/3 ..... works being that there are six eggs.
Small recipe would let you give it a try and any excess freeze, or keep for the next day.

BTW I have frozen french toast made the regular way, so I see no reason why this would not work just as well.
