I have resolved to get the quilts finished that I have started and for one reason or another have not finished. Along with several others that I want to make for people.

Well---between now and March I'm eye-ball deep in activities for my Guild, plus have several customer quilts to long arm(In Jan). Need to make a t-shirt graduation quilt for sis's g-son by early May, and really want to finish my DD's wedding quilt before their 2nd anniversary in Sept! Did I say I work best under some pressure?

I am nervous but I will power through so I can give it to my nephew for a wedding gift in July
[QUOTE=Jakers1;7411689]I cut a lot of 2 1/2" squares for a GFG. I have a ton of them left, so I sew two together as a leader/ender. When I get 2, then I do 4, then 8, etc. When I get to 64, I add sashing and have a strip of blocks to sew another set of blocks to - eventually I will have a quilt made, hopefully this year.

I sure wish I understood this. I need to start using leaders/enders but don't have a clue where to start. Are you willing to pm me and explain it further? I know it would be a great way to use up some stash and get twice as much done. I'm still working so not as much gets done as I wish.

As for goals I am working on getting 18 total quilts finished for our church retreat house. I'd love to see quilts on each bed. So far i only have like 8 or 9.
And I'm working on my mom''s 80th birthday quilt which is in early April and also would like to finish the Christmas quilt where I won the ornament blocks. It's the cutest thing! I made it into a top but haven't decided if it's finished or needs more.

As for me, I've got a full house so whatever I can't live without (after I finish the ones in progress of course). So many quilts in my head, so little time. You know the deal lol.

I too plan to use material out of my stash as much as possible. I can't afford to pay $10.00 or more for yardage. I do try to always buy what's on sale if I can. I have a big stash so will use what I have for now.

What a wonderful idea. I made quilts for children in hospital. I rang the ward who refused them until they understood the quilt belonged to the child to take home not the hospital.
Will the home only take them if relatives wash when necessary? Sorry to be a kill joy it is such a brilliant idea but other agencies spoil it.

Our guild made 10 quilts for a local home to house "terminally" ill people. They have 10 beds and will open in Feb. 2016.

I have been trying to finish projects in the last few months, 2 for fall and 1 Christmas quilt. These were for me as I realized I had only 1 quilt in our home and it needed replaced.
I made one wallhanging of a wolf for my son.

I feel like I have cleaned out some of my projects. I still have a cross quilt wallhanging and a walkway wallhanging to be quilted.
I have a double wedding ring quilt that I have started and will finish that for my first project. After that, my son and daughter in law have requested a new quilt, I have this designed in my new EQ7 that I got a few weeks ago. I love this software.
I have a few other projects that I still need to get started on. I would also like to do a storm at sea, lone star and mariners compass. Plus, get to my "other" wish list projects.
I felt like I had accomplished something yesterday, to finish my son's wallhanging to give to him last night. After this list I'm not so sure.

I got a mid-arm frame this year and a new Juki 2010Q and feel I have got the hang of them, so that is an accomplishment. Free motion is doing well also.

Our guild is also going to start a project to make bags for Sadie's Dream for a cure. Hopefully, 40 bags to donate to a local facility for kid's that have cancer. They are filled with the necessities of shampoo, toothbrushes and then some fun things for the child to play with.

My goal for the new year is to complete twelve quilts, using only the kits and fabric in my stash. Always, always, always on my list is to get my sewing room organized and in order.

I would also love to finish some UFO's that are sitting in a tub waiting for me. Also to be a little more organized

In January our guild has a PHD (partially half done) project we can participate in if we wish. We list and pay $1.00 for each PHD we want to complete during the year. At our monthly meetings if our show and tell is one of the PHDs on our list we get a chance for half of the money that was collected and at our Christmas party the names are put in the hat for a chance to win so the more PHDs we complete the more chances we have of winning. It is a fun way to stay motivated.
