Okay, so it took me a <little> longer than a day to complete my New Year's Day mystery quilt, but I was determined to stick with it until it was complete. Ta-da! Now the real fun part, deciding on the next project.

This is the Big Fan Quilt. Many "first times" in here for me. I tried the self-binding method and LOVED it. Wow, talk about simple!!!

Those all look like fans! I've never seen a fan quilt where the blocks were turned. That's REALLY cool! I love how it looks like a chain.

You know how the different layouts can make a Log Cabin look completely different...diamond shapes, courthouse steps, all the mirror stuff? You took a block I've seen all the time and put it in a whole new frame. I like it...makes me almost one to make one. (I'm still getting over my recent fan)

Absolutely wonderful.
