I have my normal resolutions~be more patient and lose some more weight, but I also have quilting resolutions for the New Year. I'm going to plan on at least a half hour of quilting with my daughters each day they want to quilt. I wanted to learn sewing as a child but everyone in my family who knew how to sew was always just too busy to teach me so I want to nourish my girls' desire to learn. I also want to promise myself to try at least one new technique each month. What are your Quilting New Year's Resolutions?

Work on one gift a month and maybe give it away when it's done instead of waiting for a holiday or birthday. Finish one UFO/WIP a month. Get into the sewing space more often instead of just looking at it longingly as I walk by. Hey, these all tie in together!

I would like to make five quilts that are twin size or bigger. The first two will be for me, I badly need them. I want to learn to make more complicated quilts. I want to learn to do machine quilting using those designs

clean my sewing room and keep it clean. Use more of my stash. Get my tops quilted. I would love to teach my girls but they aren't really interested yet.
