Like everyone else, I want to finish my UFO's. I am also challenging myself to make a 9 patch block each day from 2 1/2 inch scraps to be made into quilts or quilted shirts/jackets. An area shop did this during the summer. I was not able to do it then, but want to push myself to do it. I did make blocks the first two days of the year. Will make another after work today. I am also trying to work my way thru all the kits I have purchased thru the years. Good luck to all on your resolutins!

3 and me are really serious this year. Every Monday we meet from 1-5pm to work on UFOs. We have rules and everything serious sounding. Send us your prayers and best wishes. Ah, today is our first session. I have the room all set up and have received confirmation from 3.

I often want 4 patches in my projects. I have a small bin of 2 1/2" squares. When I want to sew, but don't feel up to something challenging, I make 4 patches.
A really good plan!!

Please let us know how it is going with your group. I'd love to start something in a group, I'd had to have it at 'my' house and on Sat. Keep us in the loop of UFO's...

That's why I love to read postings on this group! I am inspired to start my own collection of squares. I don't have anything prepared in advance...Good thoughts, great ideas!

right now I am quilting some blocks for a lady in TX, who puts them together for veternswith disabilities in a housing district. (I do believe set aside just for them) any one care to join. :) She told the housing athorities for every new family coming in she would make a quilt. Well, 4 wasn't bad, now she will need seven this year. haha... I told her to continue raising her hand. She needs blocks made in red, white, and blue or red, white and blue materials. She also belongs to this forum. Outside of starting this project. I hope to learn the key to making taiangles looke like triangles. My points just do not match up as I see some of yours. For now 2 goals are enough.
