    I like the second one with the color slashing. The white is too stark and the yellow way too bright.

    I think the yellow makes your
    design stand out more, and matches
    your center disc. Just my opinion
    from looking at your pic.

    Look at the link "I finally finished my mom's dresden plate quilt" It's all white and pretty. But I still like color.

    me again.....I know you have the 9 patches made and opinions seems to be split.....white & yellow.....maybe make the 9 patch with the yellow fabric?

    Sorry girls I like the yellow because it brings out the yellow in the center of your dresden plate.

    I really like the yellow best. My second choice is the white. It is just beautiful either way

    I am a newbie to quilting, but my opinion......I love the yellow sashing to match the centers. I would not put the 9 patches at each corner. To me, they draw the eye away from the focus centers.

    Using the 9 patches look the best with the white sashings. With the white, the 9 patches act like little stars. I will love to see what you end up with.
