Billy, I am sorry to be a pest about the sticky/tacky on my machine (page 644), But, is the answer to continue cleaning the areas that are sticky until they are no longer sticky, or STOP cleaning? Thanx, luv2learn

I say keep cleaning but be careful of the decals If they look like they are wanting to come off then stop. But it might be just years of gunk built up on the machine.

Glenn you would have loved to see a piano that I refinished (cleared) for the Grand Casino a few years back. I ended up putting 6 gallons of clear on that thing but it was like a swimming pool you could swim in the paint!!

Yeah us car guys are something else you should see my mail box!!

I need an all purpose throat plate in order to do zigzag using my Singer 401A.
Where do I start looking?
Thanks.

I used Formby's Tung Oil high gloss finish on my cabinets. I like the look. You can also use 100% Tung Oil that Lee Valley sells. I use that on my kitchen wooden counter top, works well.

Oh! I'm here for the coffee and the lemon bars, yeah! Hi to Up North Donna... stay warm now, ya hear? (I've got the windows open, and it's still shorts weather for us. GREAT tomatos and lettuces in the garden. Roses are bloomin... bees buzzin. Oh wait, that's the timer on the bread machine buzzin. Fresh cinnamon raisin bread for Billy and Charlee.... if you're in south florida, drop by for a nice slice and a cuppa, the welcome mat is out! Hopefully Glenn will show up and finish all my refinishing for me... and Nancy will give me her treadle and... oh shucks, I was dreamin'!)
