Oh dear... did you know that they are biennials? Seeds of forget-me-nots started now will not bloom until next spring.
What we found said they are annuals. There were others that are perrenials. We didn't see any that said they were biennials. Similar flowers, but different foliage.

Oh Sandi HUGS!!!!!! I actually have started seeing the grass over the septic from these past couple of days of melting. Still a foot or more in other areas of the yard though.

I have a new raised veg. bed, just this year. cabbage sets, radishes, onion sets, carrots, potatoes, lima beans, pole beans, a few tomato plants, 5 color mix bell pepper from seed. I planted some on the 6th and just finished planting the bed a few days ago. Things are already sprouting in the garden and the potatoes are about 3 inches tall. carrots and radishes only about 1 inch tall. I live in SC and it was 81 degrees today. I hope a late frost dosen't come. I hear we probably will get one now. If the frost gets it, I will just have to replant it. But that is fun too. good luck with yours.

I started everything from seed except the onions and the collards. Right now we have a lot of peas, green beans, several kinds of peppers, some Cherokee purple tomatoes, zucchini and yellow squash, potatoes, onions, and cantalope.I also have carrots, radishes , roma tomatoes and a little corn. I still have to plant cucumbers and some herbs.
We lucked out this year when we planted early in March. We covered plants two cold nights, but we should be in the clear now! You can see we planted a lot in buckets this year. So far we like the method!
Nice work! Did you put the plastic under the planting beds or just along the walk-ways?
