Terrt, Enjoy that retreat! We don't have those around here and I would love to go to one someday.

not me. I don't feel right if I'm not dressed a bit. Only on extreme snow (blizzard) days will I stay in PJ's.

I used 2 inch squares and put six colors together

When piecing strips, try a shorter stitch length on your machine. My machine has a double stitch. It stitches the same stitch twice one right on top of the other, I think this helps to disallow stretching. Then with a good pressing, not ironing, they seem to flatten right out. I also cut some strips on the warp and some on the weft and that seems to help too.

Make a day plan for them and send them off on a Saturday morning to the zoo, a ball game, or even a camping trip so they are gone overnight one night. Fathers love being completely in control over the kids once in a while!

Jammie Day! Is that legal? I would feel so guilty but love the idea.

Sorry to hear about the dog. Hope it is found soon.

I prefer not to get out of my pj's unless I have to go somewhere. I pretty much live in them. But I do work nights. I think I own more pjs and scrubs than I do normal clothes.
