Cutting Table
#21
I forgot to add that at another sale, I got the ironing board/measuring cover for it and that makes it even more useful. I'm looking for a good office type chair so I can sit and iron big pieces without having to keep moving it around a teeny-tiny ironing board. I might also add, mine is one of the older tables and at least one person on one of the other threads got a real lemon, so if you so buy it, I'd suggest opening the carton at the store and making sure that all the pieces are there and in good shape.

I purchased one several years ago and didn't like because it was so unstable. It was better after I supported it in the corner of two walls. If I had my druthers I would purchase an old island kitchen cabinet (which is tall) at a thrift shop...plus you will have more storage which I can always use.

Bought on about 10 years ago and it is still in excellent shape. I use it every day. Store easy if you want to put the sides down and it is about 12 inches wide then. Couldn't live without it.
Have a Blessed day.

I bought one the last time they were on sale and took it back. The one I got, was terrible. Had a couple of bad nicks and didn't line up at all. I probably just got a bad one, so for the price, I guess try it. I am also "vertically challenged", so found it waaaaay too high for me. LOL. Good luck

I looked at Hancock's and JoAnn's I thought they were unstable. I elected to use an fold in half table at Walmart $34 and the bed risers $8 to get the height. That way I can easily take it down if I just wanted to use the table as a table somewhere else. I can store under it also.
There are also the adjustable tables 19" 25" 29". They are not as wide as the fold in half that don't adjust.

I bought one about 6 wks ago. It took hubby 2 1/2 hrs to put together. Then I didn't like it. It was wobbly, some of the screw holes didn't match--made in China!! I took it back all assembled. It was still in the shop last time I was in. DH went to Lowe's & bought a 5 tier shelf & put together only 3 tiers. It was very study and gave me 2 shelves for storage, for the same $70. plus he will have 2 shelves to use.

My Mom bought me one for Christmas about seven years ago. It is a good table but it is heavy. It took my Mom and me to wrestle it into and out of the car just to drag it into the house...yes, I said drag and not carry...mine was that heavy!

I'm in the process of planning out my new sewing room. I was considering one of these, but my dh suggested that I look on Craig's list instead and see if anyone is remodeling their kitchen and has cabinets they are getting rid of. He could then put them in my new room, with a top on them. They would not only be the right height for me, but also have ample storage.
