A ballet tutu for a colleague's boxer pup! Sad to say, I had what I needed right in my stash.

Made a cover for something in my husband's lab at work. It's high security and this thing needed to be covered up before some people could come in. It was a black tube with drawstrings on either end. He said it fit perfectly and kept the "thing" secured. I guess if I knew more, he would have to shoot me! lol

Don't know what to call it, but they are little satin hearts that you fill with rice and put in the freezer. They are to be given at wedding showers, etc. and the bride puts one in each side of her bra to keep her from sweating if she is nervous. Can also be used by women having hot flashes. You can also put a little real lavender in them to make them smell good.

not quilting, but I had a childbirth educator ask me to knit a uterus to a specific size so she could demonstrate the baby in the uterus and coming out. Made it for her for free since she didn't specify color. It was a purple uterus with a yellow cervix. I am a nurse and work in the newborn nursery. Got a lot of teasing about that one! Virg

A bed for my granddog that fit in his crate. I even embroidered "Grandma loves Leo" on it. Used cute puppy fabric.

My daughter has two different cup sizes for her bra size. I made her bras by taking two different sizes apart and making one.

I have made many unsual Items,I guess when my husband ask me to make covers for his metal lathe in his shop.
I also find it very chalenging to make sewing and quilting helpers like the ruler holder I have on the back of my sewing room door,I always know where my rulers are.
