    thanks. I learned it from my father when I was younger and then again from my friend and neighbor. Bartering is back in and it allows us to all get what we need in the end without the cash cost. I love it

    OMG!! Your New Home is like mine. I bought mine just this last fall. I'm her third owner. She is right at 100 yrs. old. Her first owner was a lady that lived on a farm outside Cottonwood Falls Ks. After this lady moved to town when she got older, another woman in Cottonwood Falls bought her. She has been used well in making quilts as this what both ladies did. She began to sit at her second owners house. I was asking about a treadle in the sewing store and she overheard me. She invited me out to see her. OH MY GOSH! I bought her on site. she has all original pieces and papers and still sews like a dream. Enjoy!!!!
