Ok.. guess you can tell by my Avatar why my nickname is Divokittysmom...not too original.
However, his name is taken from a musical (pop)operatic group I love to listen to, Il Divo. Very talented operatic singers whose voices touch my heart and soul, just like my Divo kitty! ;-)

This is really a fascinating thread! Sooo many creative minds lurk here! giggle
    Looking forward to more stories!

Do any of you remember the t.v. show MASH ? Remember when Col. Potter asked the Vietnamese man if he could identify himself... and the man said "Sure! This is me!"

Well... this is just me... BrendaY

Mine came about in the sixth grade, we were studying Greek Mythology. We were discussing the Amazon women and one of the guys said "Hey, Daphne looks like an Amazon Warrior." At the time I was taller than every boy and had long dark hair.Someone shortened it to Amazon and the name stuck all through school. :D

I am an electrician in a theatre; we are commonly called "Sparkies," hence the Spark. Also, in this particular theatre we use a catwalk system, rather than moving pipes, to hang lights. We spend most of the workday up in the air, making us "Monkeys." Also, I was born in 1980, which is the Chinese Year of the Monkey. So, SparkMonkey.

Mine is pretty straight forward. JSK is for John, Sue, kids and the bloomers part is our nickname around town, short for Blumenshein.

    That's very cute.

Mine is my first name and I'm owned by three cats (and 1 weiner dog, but most of the time his vote doesn't count).

I came up with my name after my beloved side kick "Ms Grace".
She is my Pfaff 7550, and I love her to pieces.
We spend many hours "bonding" each week.
