Sun Bonnet Sue and all it's variations. However there was a really cute one posted here once of SBS visiting Texas. And I adore the macabre SBS where the quilters came up with different ways to help her meet her demise.

I detest the washed out 1930's reproduction fabrics in ANY quilt. I feel those colors just make a quilt look old and tired. Why even bother?

For me, the Baltimore Album quilts are my least favorite. Just don't like the look, but man I sure envy the talent of those who create them! That is a lot of painstaking, slow, careful work! Virg

I haven't been quilting long enough to detest any certain pattern. I do know I see a beautiful quilt and a class offered, and take the class, then get stuck making 80 1.5" sqaures, and it doesn't seem so fun any more!

I like all quilts but I wouldn't make all of them. Just like someone else said, alot has to do with fabric colors. To me all quilts are beautiful, but some aren't my taste. That's what makes the world go around!

LOL. I am your 180degree opposite. I love scraps and scrapping and crumb quilts, and wonky quilts of all kinds. I'd rather sit and eat worms, than to follow a pattern and have to follow rules.
Isn't it wonderful, how it all shakes out? Something out there for each of us!

Shrine? Wayside Shrine?
Take a look at a few on my website
