    I made this quilt for our "Piecemakers" quilting for charity group. It is made in our traditional 8"X9" blocks. 11 blocks across, and 7 blocks down. So no, I could not fit all the stars and stripes on this quilt. It is hanging at the church in McAllen, Texas. If it doesn't sell for the standard $75, it will be given away to one of the lucky children that get quilts in Nov/Dec.

    Great job! I lived in Weslaco many years ago. Went to school there from 1st through 9th grade. It's so nice to see someone post something from the RGV!

    Moved down here 15 yrs ago. I'm a native Houstonian. Joined another quilt group today(newly formed) here in San Juan. They are doing some awsome quilts.
