Welcome from North Florida, transplanted from Anch & Seward in 07. Been to Kodiak three times and just loved it. Sure do miss the FRESH salmon & halibut. Yep I spend too much time on here sometimes too. Again a big WELCOME!

Welcome to the board from a Nebraskan who is homesick for Alaska (used to live in Wasilla, before Anchorage grew up the valley)

Welcome from Wilmington, NC. My son is in the Coast Guard and he and his family are stationed in Kodiak (2nd tour). I was there this summer for 5 weeks. I love it there!

welcome from OK.
Spent 15 years out in AK. never got to Kodiak, but would have loved to for Lions club convention!
Hubby retired from the coast guard in Ketchikan and could have extended for a tour in Kodiak, but then 9/11 happened and he chose to retire!
have fun on the QB!
