Vintage Sewing Machine Shop.....Come on in and sit a spell
Actually, any low shank, Side clamping attachments should work on it. For the most part they are very easy to find. Just puttin my 2 cents in since you said you just joined the group. Someone correct me if im not correct. You have come to the right place for information, there s a wealth of knowledge in these pages. As a matter of fact, it might take a while , but would be a GREAT read all the way from page 1. I dont write much, but I read every word and jump in when I can! LOL ra
For the most part, yes. I do know that my sister has our mother's FW, and the ruffler in that case does NOT fit the machine...
In most cases tho, any vintage low shank attachments will work.
Thanks again Charlee :-)

Can anyone tell me where to look for model numbers online? I have several machines with serial numbers and know the dates. There are 3 Singers, 1920s, 4 treadles, New Home, White, Singer Redeye, and a Singer I haven't seen yet. A Franklin, a Pfaff.....
I acquired most of them before this craze started, so 25 years ago, just like the way they look.

What is a New Vassar? Has anybody ever heard of it? How do I date it?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Jan, you did a GREAT job on that White, and I disagree...I DO think she's beautiful, in the same way a 100 year old woman is beautiful...may have a few scars, many wrinkles, aches and pains...but a smile that glows!
Can't wait to hear about her "smile" (stitching)! :)

re The White rotary --I found my godzilla finish one was sold in 1952 --have the manual plus another big manual with it --has been well cared for. No chance to use it yet.
Will try to post pic asap.
Glad these machines are being saved/restored whatever brand.
