It is gorgeous fabric -- looks like purple background. I'm ALL into purple this year!

I have a good number of fabrics that I bought just because I love them. I also just want to use them for something spectacular, however..........my "spectacular" quilt may never happen. After my best friend died, and I had to clean out her stash....I realized if I don't use these fabrics they may end up on someone else's quilts someday! AND I WOULD HAVE MISSED OUT ALL THAT FUN OF USING THEM!!
So, my advice is USE THEM NOW!

Time waits for no fabric. It will be twice as pretty in a quilt.

I think you have a great pattern which will really show off your gorgeous fabric. Go for it. Don't think you can go wrong! Happy quilting.

I would make it and that way you can enjoy it more then it sitting in a cupboard where you have to take it out to enjoy it...there is no scch thing as perfection....it is perfect for you...don't worry about perfection...your never going to enjoy it if you wait...and it will dry rot if you just keep it without using it....go for it ...blessings

I have fabric that I dread cutting. I did force myself to make something for me, I'm always doing for someone else.

I can see why you don't want to cut into this material. So beautiful. Just think of how beautiful the end result will be.
It was meant to be cut sewn by loving hands.

I say go for it - I have had that problem too - but I have finally decided that I just go for it - if it doesn't work out - well then you get to start another one
